Movie review - Paan singh tomar

                                    PAAN SINGH TOMAR

Paan singh tomar directed my Tigmanshu Dhulia . It is a Hindi-language film, based on the true story of a runner employed by the Army and has won Gold medal at Indian National Games but forced to become notorious baaghi. It is based on real story, where paan singh tomar was a real hero and an indian athlete. He was one of the great sportman for India. The story tells the story about how he was force to became Chambal ka daku .This story inspired Tigmanashu Dhulia to make this movie starring Irrfan Khan. A plot like this is likely to turn monotonous after a certain time. However, Tigmanshu has made a serious to grab your attention by focussing on the reason behind why Paan Singh decides to become a dacoit. In fact, the motive is so compelling that you begin to relate to the character essayed by Irrfan Khan. There are few light moments too that makes you smile. The scene in which Paan Singh sends his children out of the house to buy lemon juices so that he could spend some time alone with his wife.
Story :-
The story of Paan Singh Tomar is set in Chambal and revolves around the life of a brilliant athlete named Paan Singh Tomar (Irrfan Khan), who brings a lot of fame to the country by winning steeplechase, a form of race, at the Indian National Games consecutively for seven years. However, after his retirement, he is forced to go to Chambal where he pursues farming. A series of events and happenings in his life makes him take up the gun and become a dacoit.
Although the film have a great pick up from the starting, the overall charm and aura is maintained. It's difficult for Dhulia to race through since the film has to move at its own pace.Paan Singh Tomar celebrates sports. It also highlights the apparent jungle we all are living in. Just imagine what his life would have been had his complaint been registered in the police station and was he given the respect due to him.

The movie gives the over all out line about what was the condition of village there and how people where force to become daku and how it was difficult for a common man to live there as even police was helpless for them.
In the country like this where there is obsessed with the cricketers, this movie can encourage the other sport in the country. Its the movie of inspirational for all the people in to country that, how he gets success in army life.
And this is a movie which can give a view that how is this society and how we can improve the society
The movie is must to watch.
